Where did you go?

I'm back!

After a rather long break from the blogging world indeed, I've decided it's about time I returned. It was lovely to get tweets from people saying "i miss your blog" and "why don't you blog anymore?" so I just thought why not... I have a lot of spare time in the office anyways. Oh! That is where I will start, I'll explain a little of what's changed since I've been gone.

1. I completed a retail apprenticeship at Next and worked there full time for a while.. to then discover after years of thinking it was, that retail was certainly not for me and I am now a legal secretary at a Solicitors firm. Boring, but it pays the bills right?

2. New man in my life, the lovely mr sam walsh (i'm sure you'll hear lots of about him in future posts, so won't babble on)

3. My best friend had a baby - the beautiful little thing that is Tayah (again, there will be lots of pictures)

4. Still a lover of eating nutella straight from the jar with a spoon, sushi & sour sweets

5. Oh I'm 19 now!

  1. It's good to see you back! Random question, is the Next apprenticeship good, 'cause I had an interview for a place on Friday and I'm waiting to hear back from them as to whether I got it or not x

  2. It is good if you want a background, detailed education in the way in which the retail environment works. Next was a great place to base it at also, they do treat their staff, on the whole, quite well.
The only thing that was negative was the pay, obviously apprenticeship pay, I was on £2.50 an hour, yet was doing exactly the same work as the rest of the staff.
    Hope this helps :-)

    1. Thanks for the info, I'm hoping I did well in the interview, but the low pay is a bit of a negative indeed! :) x

Feedback is what blogging is about, to know what people think about you're posts and what I have to say in general. I enjoy reading each and every comment.
